Friendship store under new management

The Friendship Store in downtown Donalsonville is under new management. 

Wendy Smith, manager and  Brittany Odom, assistant manager are excited for this opportunity and are grateful to Pastor Nate Lehman and Friendship Methodist Church for the opportunity to serve the community in this capacity. 

Wendy commented. “It’s a wonderful place to work with a great staff, volunteers, and the best customers. Meaningful friendships and connections are being made as we strive to build upon the greatness the store has already established”. 

This month sales and promotion theme  at the store is Christmas in July. Glenn Hunter graciously blessed the store and its patrons with his talent and played favorite Christmas tunes on July 10, 11, and 12. 

“It was a big hit with the customers as they enjoyed wonderful music, refreshments, and great bargains. The sale continues til the end of the month. Please stop by and shop,” added Smith.

The store is open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p..m, Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

The friendship store is a ministry of Friendship Methodist Church to provide low cost quality clothing for the community.
