Seminole’s Got Talent takes the stage April 17

Seminole County Family Connection will hold its annual Seminole’s Got Talent on Thursday, April 17th at the Seminole County Elementary School auditorium. Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m.. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and children not enrolled in school will be admitted at no charge.

Family Connection Coordinator Billie McLendon commented, “Our annual talent show provides a platform for students to showcase their diverse talents, whether it be singing, dancing, acting, or showcasing other artistic abilities.”

Beyond the spotlight, this event cultivates confidence, self-expression, and collaboration among participants, empowering them to embrace their unique strengths and identities. 

McLendon added, “We are very thankful to our supporters for their commitment to community engagement that aligns with the values and objectives of our collaborative talent show. By sponsoring this event, the collaborative’s supporters  play a pivotal role in promoting educational enrichment, cultural appreciation, and youth empowerment within our community.” 

First, second, and third place will be awarded in an elementary school category as well as in a middle/high category. 

The entire community is invited to come out on April 17th at 6 p.m. for this year’s showcase of some of Seminole County’s best and brightest talent.
