The Stewards of Lake Seminole are extremely grateful and proud to have Jake Paul as a new Steward of Lake Seminole. “Jake recognizes the natural beauty of our lake, the peace, serenity, memory-making fun and enjoyment it offers to all, and the importance of saving it for future generations,” said Stephen Dickman, Stewards of Lake Seminole founder and executive director.
Jake Paul, now a local land owner with four and a half miles of Lake Seminole frontage, is a professional boxer, promoter, philanthropist, and social media star with over 77 million subscribers and followers. He is the founder of Boxing Bullies, a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to eliminate bullying by instilling self-confidence, leadership and youth courage through boxing. He also actively supports efforts to end world hunger and the Make a Wish Foundation.
Paul commented, “Since I now have a vested interest in this community I wish to be a positive part in making sure it is the best it can be for all of us, and for all of us yet to come.”
Jake’s arrival at Lake Seminole is an example of one of his dreams becoming a reality through hard work and perseverance. “He exemplifies the American dream and demonstrates that success is created by setting goals and tirelessly working your plans to achieve those goals,” Mr. Dickman continued. “Jake represents the younger generation that is so important to the future of Lake Seminole, our communities, and most importantly the future of our country.”
“Jake will be an excellent Steward,” said Dickman. “We look forward to building some of those memories with him while working together to preserve and enhance our precious Lake Seminole resource. Thank you, Jake!”
The Stewards of Lake Seminole are committed to preserving and enhancing Lake Seminole and saving it for future generations to enjoy by managing the invasive species that seek to destroy it.
