Putts and Paddles fundraiser this weekend
Seminole County Family Connection and Friendship House of
Jesus are teaming up this weekend for the first annual Putts and Paddles golf and pickleball tournament.
Get ready to swing, serve, and support a great cause at this weekend’s Putts and Paddles fundraiser, a combined golf and pickleball tournament benefiting Seminole County Family Connection and Friendship House of Jesus.
The event promises friendly competition, community spirit, and an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of local children, youth, and families. Teams are welcome to come and register the morning of the event for both the golf and pickleball tournaments.
The golf tournament will be held at the Donalsonville Country Club. Registration will be at 11:30 a.m., lunch from 12 – 1 p.m., and the four man scramble format tournament will tee off at 1 p.m.
The pickleball tournament will be held at the Friendship House of Jesus Gym with registration is from 8:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.
The Rally Scoring Format Tournament will begin at 9 a.m.
All proceeds and sponsorships from Putts and Paddles will directly support two vital community programs.
Seminole County Family Connection provides literacy programming from birth through high school and leads popular community initiatives such as the Back-to-School Scramble, Family Game Night, Literacy on the Lawn, and Love Notes, a healthy relationship education program.
Friendship House of Jesus offers an after-school program for underserved children, giving them a safe and encouraging place to receive homework help, enjoy fellowship and sports, and grow in their faith.
Event organizers encourage community members to come out, compete, and connect — or simply cheer on participants — as they raise funds to strengthen Seminole County families.
