Qualifying Period for May Primary March 2-6

The Qualifying Period for the May 19, 2026 Primary Election for the offices below begins on Monday, March 2 and ends on Friday, March 6.

Qualifying hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. March 2nd through March 5th. Qualifying hours for March 6 are from 9:00 a.m. until  noon.

Local offices on the May 19, 2026 Primary Election ballot include Seminole County Commissioner District 2,  Seminole County Commissioner District 4,  Seminole County Board of Education District 1, Seminole County Board of Education District 3, and  Seminole County Board of Education District 5.

Candidate Qualifying Packets are now available from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. at the Seminole County Elections Department located at 230 Cherry Street in  Donalsonville.

The qualifying fee for Seminole County Commissioner is $457.18,  and $108.00 for Seminole County Board of Education posts.
