Seminole County Elections Office conducting county-wide redistricting effort

The Seminole County Elections Office is conducting a required redistricting effort for Seminole County. The effort, based upon the 2020 Census, will update the voter registration database for School Board and County Commission Districts as approved by the Seminole County Commission and Seminole County Board of Education to accurately reflect the Seminole Commission and School Board District – 2022 map published by the Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Office per the direction of the Georgia General Assembly.
The effort will change some voters’ District (where you live and who represents you). The redistricting is expected to be completed approximately April 3, 2026. All affected voters will receive new precinct cards in the mail showing the change(s) in the coming weeks.
No voter precincts (where you vote) are expected to be affected by this effort.
Elections Supervisor Ron Foskey commented, “Rest assured, we are working hard to accomplish this effort and regret any inconvenience for this required redistricting.”
If you have any questions, contact Foskey, or Mike Rogerson, Elections Clerk, at the Seminole County Courthouse Annex located at 230 Cherry Street, or call us at 229 524-2878.
